Is there a chemical SAFE tear stain remover for dogs on the market?
I have a cream chihuahua with blocked tear ducts. As he is a puppy I do not want to put him under anaesthetic to have them cleared for the time being. I am looking for a product that is safe to use that is herbal in nature. I have bought products but they all state clearly not to get in the dogs eyes, which is very worrying with a wiggly puppy!!
Any ideas??
Have you tried just using a weak saline solution for his eyes. About a teaspoon of salt in a mug of warm water?
