Upcoming wedding and I am not sure about the whole unity candle?
Ok so I am not sure how this unity candle things works. I really haven’t been to a lot of weddings that do it and really haven’t seen it done. The future mother in law says that our family like mother and father light one and then we light one. Is that true? I always thought it was just the newlyweds that do the candle and not the parents to???? I am confused can you help me out
A unity candle usually consists of three candles. The parents of the groom will light the one of the left, the parents of the bride will light the one on the right, the bride and groom will then take their respective families candle and bring them together to light the middle candle!!
