Digital & Paper Srcapbooking?

I’m just getting into scrapbooking and I figured out that if I do any digital scrap pages, that I can just print them out on my 8×11 pages and then cover the 12×12 scrapbook page with wrapping paper for color or theme. My question is do you think that the wrapping paper will yellow quickly with age? I save wrapping paper and I never seen it yellow quickly, but someone told me that it will within a couple of months. Also any other idea’s on what to cover 12×12 pages with? Some of the refills that I get are just plain white and I wanted them to have some “pop”…
Last question, What are the plastic covers called that the 12×12 pages go into? i was trying to look up on line and I was getting what I wanted. This is for when I buy pre-printed 12×12 pages.
Sorry for the long question, I hope that it made sense!..lol

First NEVER use wrapping paper unless you are using it in small spots as mementos because it contains acid and lignan which can deteriorate your photos. If you use it, make sure it is not touching your pictures and you are mounting it on buffered paper so the acid won’t spread. BUT your best bet since you probably don’t even know what I am talking about is for you to go to Michaels or AC Moore (or any scrapbooking store) and buy some 12×12 cardstock. It comes in MANY MANY varieties of textures and colors. They will be acid free and lignan free. Then you simply use archival quality tape (also available at any craft store) and tape it down to the scrapbook page. Then you can attach your 8×10 digital shot and you have room left for a title on the side! Also there are many places that you can actually have a 12×12 digital page printed. Creative Memories does it, I think shutterfly and also Costco! They come out really nice and you can just slide them into your page protectors. That is the 12×12 plastic thing you put your pages into.

Good luck to you and I would be happy to answer any of your other questions!
