Which type of colored pencils should I get? I would like the best?
I don’t want to go to Target/Walmart and just buy the 32 ct set of colored pencils. I would like something that’s a little bit more professional.
It’s hard to buy good quality color pencils at a place like walmart because usually their art supplies are in the toy section, but I can suggest you a couple of brands that won’t be hard to find and are not expensive.
1. Prismacolor Thick Lead set, about $26.11 for 24 colors.
2. Faber-Castell. Here I can suggest 2, if you want something more pro buy the Polychromos Artists color pencil metal tin, (a 24 color would be about $50, and a 36 about $75), if you want something more simple you can get the ART GRIP Pencils set (a tin of 24 would be about $35, and a tin of 36 would be around $55).
Also you can prob. find an art supply store near you, where you’ll find a great variety of pencil styles, eventually you’ll find a brand that you feel more comfortable with.
