Grilling beef and chicken at public grills, sanitary?
I told my dad we should make a thing of marinading some meat and grilling it at the beach or a park. He told me the public grills are never clean and have stuff caked on the grill. I think he said we could lay down aluminum foil if I really want to try?
Is that what I should do? Or should I bring a scraper and clean the grill? Or should I just grill and not worry? thanks
Technically the temperature of the charcoal or flames is hot enough to kill any bacteria.Cleaning the grill would be more trouble than it’s worth.Personally I would cover it with foil though. After all it’s a public grill and there are some dirty people in the general public.
