model kit painting help?
i need help on where to buy paint for this figure,i have done model kit assembly,but this would be my first try at actual painting.i need to know what type of paint to use(acrylic?enamel?)what types of painting tools?

You can see alot of the kits that members have made. The kit you have shown is not very hard to paint. You will need to clean the surface of the resin kit throughly first. Simple dishwashing soap (dawn) works great. Dry . You will have to glue the pieces together. You have to learn pinning techniques. Using small metal rods and crazy glue works great. Pinning stops the kit from snapping at the glue points and causing much grief. Next you have to prime the kit. I love tamiya primer or “mr. surface”. Next is the choice of paint. Everyone has their favorite and its hard to tell you which one will work best for you. It’s a good idea to practice first on scrap pieces or a “cheaper” kit. Don’t get discouraged on your first try. The photo you show is someone with advanced skills. Practice, practice , practice. Check out the site for some inspiration.
