Hi! I need a good icing recipe that will cover 50 pumpkin halloween cookies?
And i’m not walking a mile to the store. Nor going there.
I can’t drive. I’m only 14! Sheeseh.
1 8 ounce block of cream cheese
1 stick margarine
1 lb powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c milk
Mix cream cheese and butter together with an electric mixer, add vanilla. Gradually mix in the powdered sugar. After all the powdered sugar has been added, gradually add the milk, a table spoon at a time, until the frosting is the desired consistency. (it may not take 1/4 cup milk to get the thickness that you want).
You can also make this without cream cheese, just use 2 sticks of butter instead of the cream cheese. You can use almond flavoring, or any other flavor but with pumpkin cookies the vanilla flavor usually tastes the best.
