What activities should I do for my 9 yr old’s birthday party?
I don’t plan to do games. Since it will be more adults, I thought maybe doing a activity corner with fun things to keep the kid’s entertained. So far I have thought of getting a dozen coloring books & crayons. Ages are between 5-11. And it will be indoors. Any other simple ideas?
I am also a kid. Let me tell u.
1) Pass the parcel. Create a present wrapped with many layers of wrapping paper. When u turn on any music, ask the kids to pass the parcel to the person beside them.Once the music stops the person holding the parcel must tear of a layer of wrapping paper from the parcel. The last person who tear off the wrapping paper and the present was to be seen the present is the persons.
2) Musical chairs. If there are 7 persons playing, take out 6 chairs and arrange them in a circle. once the music is played the children must walk around the chairs. Once the music stops, the children must sit on a chair. There will be one person left with no chair. And the person is out of the game.Then the people playing will decrease and the chairs. When there is only left with one chair two person must fight for it.when the music stopped. the last person to sit on the chair is the winner.
3) dog and bones. If there are 6 persons playing, divide them into groups of two(that will become 3 in a group).put something in the middle. number the children in each group. when u caled out 1 the person which i 1 will snatch the something in the middle.after a few rounds the group with the most points win.
4) stack me up. get a few cups not more than 20.and also divide them in two groups. each group will get 20 cups. give them 2 or 1 minute to stack the cup up in anyway they like.once the time is over stop them from stacking. which group using the 20 cups has stck higher will win.
I only hav this ideas. nothing more. Is this ok? I hope this will help u.
