Know any artists that use coloured pencils?
It’s really important that I find someone (famous or not), who draws with coloured pencils.
I’ll be your best friend if you find one!

Bet Borgeson is an excellent coloured pencil artist and has written a few books outlining techniques. She has a web site as well. Another coloured pencil artist is Arlene Steinberg who has also written an excellent book on the use of colour by layering. Ann Kullberg is another artist using coloured pencils and is noted for her portraits using them. Check out the Prismacolor web site for more information on coloured pencils for tips and look at some of the illustrations posted. They also run a contest each year looking for the best submissions of coloured pencil work.
