How do I color large areas withh Prismacolor markers?
I just bought Prismacolor markers, and so far I like them a lot. The only problem is that in order to blend tones (ie shadows on skin, etc) the ink needs to be wet on the base coat when you apply the shadow color; so how do you color LARGE areas that need shadows? By the time I have the base coat down, half of it is already dry! Please help!
Get a blender marker from an art supply store. These blenders have clear solvent that blurs the hard edges of previous marker strokes. It is what artists use to soften the overlapping strokes of solid color and to make the gradual shading smoother.
