Lexmark Reliability – The Lexmark S 1620 Printer and Lexmark S 1620 Toner Cartridge Is Hard-Working In Your Work Office
Another great piece of printing equipment is the Lexmark S 1620 with S 1620 Toner Cartridge. Lexmark has done it again with this printer as the company is known for manufacturing high quality printers.
This printer was manufactured for durability and ease of use. It is geared towards the office market. Usually those offices that have lots of printer intensive tasks that this printer can handle with ease.
The Lexmark S 1620 can accommodate up to roughly fifteen hundred sheets of paper. There is also a choice of adding an optional paper tray that can hold much more paper. The good thing with this is that with the Lexmark printer you will not need to constantly sit around inserting paper into your printer. In my experience once you have loaded all the trays it should last for an entire day even in the busiest office.
The 1620 can store lots of paper, which means that you don’t have to sit around inserting paper every few hours. If you still think you will need to store more paper then you should use the optional Lexmark paper tray with the printer. It can be very frustrating when you want to print something out and your printer runs out of paper but with so much paper capacity you shouldn’t have to feel frustrated anymore.
Lexmark always manufactures printers that have excellent print quality, as well as they including most of the latest and greatest features. Unfortunately this printer does not have many of those cutting edge features I was talking about earlier. This is probably because this printer isn’t in that higher end price range. I also went ahead and tried out the printer using Lexmark S 1620 Printer Toner Cartridge on a number of various documents to check out how the printer performed.
We began by testing the Lexmark printer by printing out a few text pages. The text came out crisp and bright so we decided to test it out on a few mixed pages i.e., a page in which text and graphics were mixed. The result of this was that the text reproduced fine except for a few minor problems with the graphics that made it seem washed out. Another thing was that the printer took a while to print out graphics, which is not a very good thing if you tend to do lots of graphic printing.
The text looked great and low-resolution clipart shined. This is why I would say that it’s more of a text printer than anything else. We also had to test the printer at high resolutions using compatible S 1620 Printer Cartridge. It took some time for the printer to begin to warm up, but once it had reached the point where it printed, the printing was pretty fast and impressive. The difference I saw was that of only a few short seconds that the printer took to get started.
The capacity of the Lexmark S 1620 cartridge is pretty generous and allows for up to 1200 pages of high-res prints. The cartridge will last a typical office around fifteen days and a home office around thirty days. It will also mainly depend upon which type of print quality the printer is set to. Lexmark has always been a company that has pushed the toner cartridge farther.
